About the Author

Cheryl Holdefer resides in Columbia, Maryland, with her husband Dave and their four children. 
She is a former Spanish and French teacher, former associate professor, and is currently an Assistant Principal at a local high school in Maryland.
She grew up in Puerto Rico and Denmark prior to attending college on the mainland.
Cheryl’s experiences as a former marathon runner, coach, and race organizer add to the credibility of Victoria’s journey in her novel.

  •     This book is such an inspirational feel good reaad! The author never gets "down" although her life is full of roadblocks and mountains to climb. An upbeat and encouraging read all will enjoy. I am looking forward to more by this author!!!!!!
  •     This is the heart and soul of every woman who has struggled with finding a meaningful relationship. It points to the very core of each of us. Read it and find yourself and understand the difference between loving and being in love.

Ms. Holdefer shows an uncanny insight into human behavior and leads you through the difficulties of doubt, disappointment, loss and betrayal in her search of love, emotional stability and personal fulfillment.   •     I loved this book and really enjoyed the characters... I was sad to be finished with it because I missed them but it was a really interesting novel and I also learned a lot about the places in the book. Great beach read too!
