When Roxy Burke left home for Nashville, she swore she wouldn’t come back until she was a star.
But it’s desperation that drives this prodigal back to her family, and no one is prepared for what happens next.
Roxy has crashed and burned.
She’s squandered an inheritance, lived a wild life, and wasted her talent.
Desperate and ashamed, she now must return to her father and sister, neither of whom she’s talked to in seven years.
Roxy’s father welcomes his daughter with love and tenderness.
But his easy acceptance is hard on Roxy’s sister.
After years of being the dutiful daughter, Elena feels resentment and anger toward her wayward sister.
Even more problematic is the reaction of Roxy’s former boyfriend.
Once a rebel, Wyatt has given his life to Christ and plans to enter the ministry.
He and Elena are engaged, but Roxy’s return raises questions that could mean the end of Elena’s perfect future.
The Burke family faces the return of the prodigal and must reach out for healing.
Will they each be able to accept God’s grace?

  •     Very good read. Holds your interest through out the entire book without being able to guess the outcome. I would recommend it
  •     I have read all of her books and I. Love every one. Roxy the prodigal. Who left homenand returned home broke and a. Failure. Elena stayed home worked for her father and was a good Christian girl. Lives changed when Roxy returns home.then we have Wyatt a. Boyfriend but whose? I could have done without the flashbacks.
  •     I like a book that not only is enjoyable to read, but one in which you can find life lessons. You might call this a story of a modern-day prodigal. What I liked was that not only did it focus on the prodigal who left home, but the one who stayed.
  •     I love all of Robin Lee Hatcher's books. I really enjoy her use of scripture. I was sad when the book ended. Looking forward to her next one.
  •     Another story about the country music industry - which I LOVE. This one explores the dark side of the biz - what happens when you don't make it.
  •     Roxy Burke has messed up bad. With almost no goodbyes, she leaves her whole life in Boise for a new life in Nashville hoping to become the next big country star.
  •     Got this as a free Kindle book since Robin Lee Hatcher is one of my fav authors! This book is no exception.
  •     Robin Lee Hatcher is one of my favorite authors of inspirational fiction. I can trust that whenever I pick up a book she has written, it will be a worthwhile, uplifting, edifying, and satisfying experience. If you are looking for strong characters with rich interactions and a satisfying ending, you will not be disappointed.
  •     I've read and enjoyed many of Robin Lee Hatcher's books, but the ending on this one totally caught me by surprise. I was really upset after putting it down!
  •     Robin knows how to weave a story and keep you hooked till the end. I always look forward to her books.
  •     I always enjoy books by Robin Lee Hatcher. In this book she paints a picture of unconditional love and forgiveness. It never hurts to be reminded of how much God loves us and how He helps us overcome our mistakes through His mercy and grace.
  •     I've enjoyed Ms. Hatcher's other books, but this one lacked the depth of her other books. I did appreciate Ms. Hatcher's touching upon the subject where parents are nearly forced to shower attention (albeit negative) upon the "bad" child so that the "good" child feels ignored. I'd recommend this book if you wanted an easy read.
  •     Great story of a prodigal daughter and the struggle her sister had when she came back.Love love love this book!!! Robin Lee Hatcher hit it out of the ballpark again!
