  •     I love the illustrations of the Holly Hobbie books, and found the Nat'l Geographic illustrations and text both to be sadly lacking in charm and subtlety. This book felt clumsy and derivative. Stick with the authentic Holly Hobbie ones.
  •     A wholesome story about a sweet pair of friends who enjoy each other's differences. Great for reading to a child or for having your beginning reader read to you. Our daughter now asks to go to the "chateau d'fromage" and it has enahnced her love of cheeses.
  •     Toot and Puddle have been big favorites among all of my grandchildren. This story also fit in nicely with my return from France.
