About the Author

Gerd de Ley is a resident of Antwerp. 
A former teacher of English, he has been a professional writer and actor since 1975 and had had more than 250 works published in Holland, Belgium, England and the USA.
David Potter's academic career culminated in an honors degree in Modern Languages at the University of Liverpool.
He has been working closely with Gerd de Ley on collections of foreign proverbs and quotations that have needed to be translated into English.
