  •     Great book and very informative
  •     I love it! As far as I'm concerned, if Dr Ron Wolfson or Joel Lurie Grishaver are involved, and book is bound to be superb.
  •     A great read and I learned a few additional things along the way!
  •     This book is now in its second edition. Perhaps the thing I liked most about this book is that its format, like others in the series (Shabbat Seder, Passover Seder, Death and Mourning) is heavily comprised of pictorial interviews with real families. People express their hopes, difficulties and successes in learning to celebrate each of the Jewish Festivals featured in each of the respective books. The book also discusses ways in which real families have dealt with interfaith issues and extended families at the time of year when most Americans are celebrating Christmas. When you've finished reading this book, you know a great deal about both the history and about the nitty-gritty and creative "how-to" of the Festival of Hanukkah.
  •     I really liked that this book had all the blessings in numerous places as someone who is converting, it's definitely helpful! I enjoyed that not only did it discuss what Chanukah is and some recipes and crafts but it also had interviews with other Jews on how they celebrate it and how they deal with the Christmas Conundrum. I definitely would recommend it to anyone who is converting or just trying to get in touch with their Jewish identity and self.
  •     Excellent book, at a fair price and delivery was excellent. This book will help me to further understand and enjoy all that G-d provides us.
