  •     I wanted this for my knitting library. It isn't a book I go to often but it is nice to have to pick up and read about the process.
  •     Nicely done and interesting. Recommended for those interested in patterns from the past and older methods of construction. Good addition.
  •     This is GREAT!!! If you want to be a knitter or are a beginner you may find this useful...glad I got it. I am NOT a beginner knitter either.
  •     would someone put a list of the patterns in this book on a review? if some one would do this i would be very grateful.
  •     its ok.
  •     This book is not for someone how is a visual learner. I was documented it has no pictures:( .
  •     Dk
  •     Informative
  •     I just love this book for what it is....and old book about ladies handcrafts...especially knitting. The old terms are used...which is helpful to me, because I have a lot of old patterns that do not have today's directions with them. Thank you for offering this book on Amazon.
  •     Slow and dry
  •     Yes.
  •     I'm sorry I bought this book. Patterns only. No idea what netting is. No illustrations. Apparently a book from early 1900's.
  •     I really liked this book because I really loveto knit and I just finished a sweater 2 daysago, a bag about 4 months ago, a pair ofsocks 5 weeks ago, a stocking 1 year ago,and some scarves when I was 8. I am only10 right now.
  •     Okay if you are interested in the history of knitting and might want to try projects that are out of the ordinary. Unless you are knitting for historical garments, there isn't much here that is useful.
