In the light of the threats posed to Christianity by militant Islam, intolerant secularism, and widespread misinformation (The Da Vinci Code, the Jesus Seminar, etc.), the necessity of informed and articulate defense of the Christian faith today can hardly be contested.
Reasons for Our Hope offers a sophisticated yet accessible guide to "destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and .

  •     I had to get this book for my Apologetics class, but I will definitely be keeping it!The last four chapters are especially helpful as they include personal responses and descriptions of certain worldviews.
  •     Easily understood and held this readers interest.
  •     Excellent! A must read for anyone who is looking for tangible reasons for our hope in Jesus!!!
  •     Exceeded my expectations! A great study tool. I intend to purchase additional copies for friends! God bless Dr House!!
  •     Apologetics books are plentiful, and this is one of the less helpful ones. While this book is a survey of apologetics, it is not nearly as well-written nor as thorough as other books on the subject. Norman Geisler's book on apologetics comes recommended instead. On Guard by William Lane Craig is another good introduction. If you really want to get deep into the issue, Christian Apologetics by Douglas Groothuis is a better alternative.Everything this book does has been done better elsewhere. There is no real reason that this book should exist.
