  •     Another in a Great Series
  •     The book is as advertised and presents very graphic settings in the city of St. Petersburg, Russian. One of my all time favorite places.
  •     Far from the glories of The Hermitage there exist broad reaches of urban squalor and truly nasty violence. This book explores in its some longish, some shortish, stories the gritty side of Petersburg and those who manage to get along by hook or by crook, mostly the latter. This book instructs and therein lies its value. It is not a book to read when one is in the doldrums on a rainy night. D.J. Kuznetsov.
