  •     Awesome
  •     Love this book from cover to cover
  •     Great follow up book. Had me on the edge of my seat!!! I'm about to start reading In My Rearview Mirror. I'm quite sure I won't be disappointed!!!
  •     This book was alright I ordered it by mistake. I didn't know it was a sequel until I really read the cover, Duh. I never read the first book about a undercover gun operation, it didn't seem interesting. I have to say Deja Vu was boring I just couldn't get into it, it was hard to finish.
  •     Angelica Barnes is released from prison, after serving five years for being an accomplice in crimes with her ex-boyfriend, Robert Santiago. She strives to put the past behind her and start her life anew. Her agenda is to find a place to live, a job, and to make amends with her best friend, Margo Myles. Everything seems to be falling in place for Angelica, until she gets the suspicious feeling she is being followed and wants to leave town. As luck would have it, she is offered a modeling career in New York.Angelica is ecstatic about the new change in her life: a new career and a new city where nobody knows her. However, not long after her arrival in New York, she discovers her dream job is a sham and to make ends meet, she reverts to her past life of pole dancing. Unbeknownst to Angelica, lurking in the darkness, is Robert Santiago, the past she's determined to leave behind. Wherever he goes danger is sure to follow and she is definitely in danger. If you're looking for a quick indulgence of suspense, drama, romance, and a cliffhanging end, DÉJÀ VU by Suzetta Perkins is packed with those components. The characters are a lively bunch and the subplot blends nicely into the storyline. DÉJÀ VU is the sequel to Behind the Veil, which I didn't read; in spite of this, the author provided an adequate amount of flashback for me to get a clear picture of the events that took place in the prequel. The only small drawback is the 380+ pages, in which less will still capture the reader's attention from the beginning to the dramatic ending.Reviewed by Sharon Lewisof The RAWSISTAZ(tm) Reviewers
